Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-15.
By using CourtsWise you agree to these terms. They are short because the site asks little of you.
Use of the site
- The guides and tools are free to use for your own information.
- The content is information, not legal advice, as the disclaimer explains.
- You may link to any page. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish guides, the venue data or tool logic as your own.
- The checklist and the character reference template are yours to use. They are not a solicitor’s documents and CourtsWise is not a party to anything you hand up in court.
- The case file is stored on your device. You are responsible for exporting it if you want to keep it; CourtsWise holds no copy.
- You may not use automated means to scrape the site at a rate that affects its availability.
Accuracy
Codable Labs Ltd takes care to keep the content accurate and dated, and welcomes corrections, but gives no warranty that any page is complete or current, and accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on it. A court date on this site is never a substitute for the date on your paper or from the court office. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Enquiries
Using the enquiry form is free and places you under no obligation. Any engagement you enter into with a solicitor is between you and that firm; CourtsWise is not a party to it and takes no part in the advice.
The court day pack
The court day pack is a PDF sold for a one-off price shown on its page, with payment taken by Stripe. It is built from the choices you make when you buy it and from the same rules configuration as the free tools, and it is emailed to you as soon as the payment goes through, with a download link that works for thirty days. Because it is digital content delivered at once, by paying you ask for immediate delivery and accept that the fourteen-day right to withdraw under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 ends when it is sent. If the pack does not arrive, or arrives faulty, reply to the receipt and it will be sent again or refunded. The pack is information, not legal advice; its templates are generic, and nothing in it is drafted for your case.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
